BoomText is the brain child and creation of two entrepreneurs, Levi McClendon and Spencer Brannan. Although they have been friends since Junior High School, and both have built successful businesses, they had never been in business together.

For many years they shared a vision of partnering in business, but it had to be the right one. The business would need to have the IT factor; it would have to be the right time and the right place. What would that look like? Would they recognize it when it appeared? Fortunately, they did! With the mobile phone industry growing exponentially and the billions of text messages being sent every month, they knew this was the IT and it was time to capitalize.

After several months of research, business planning and praying; these two entrepreneurs launched BoomText! Not looking back and committing fully to their new business, they set out with the vision of offering small to medium size businesses a way to connect and communicate with their clients and customers nationwide. They help businesses utilize the unbelievable features and uses of text messaging e.g., instant coupons, advertising, spreading information and updates to customers (exsisting and prospective). As business owners they understood that for the small and medium size businesses to compete with the larger name brands in the market, they needed to level the playing field by offering the same technology used by the” big guys”, at a fraction of the cost. BoomText is the culmination of that vision.

Levi attended the University of Arizona before starting McClendon Mortgage; a successful mortgage company staffing over 30 employees with offices throughout AZ. Through his experience and success in the mortgage business, he brings the ability to implement valuable business systems and processes focused on customer service. He believes customer service is essential to building any company and it is no different with BoomText. “The key to our success is our service; if we can be a valuable service to our advertisers and to our users, we will be successful.”

Spencer has lived across the country from Florida to California but has found himself back home in Arizona. As an entrepreneur from a very young age, he brings experience from many fields: finance, entertainment and healthcare. One of the key components he brings to the BoomText team is his unique sales and marketing ideas. He has seen it in almost every industry. “Take an existing concept and look at it in a different way, add a unique twist and you create value.” “You can’t stand still. If you aren’t moving forward in your thinking, you’re moving backward; it’s the same in business and marketing.”
