Text Message Marketing and Resorts
Resorts and Hotels now offer a Virtual Concierge service.
Upon check in, guests are presented a list of applicable codes assigned to specific services such as Restaurants, Entertainment, Events, Etc. Clients can then text in or opt in online and receive information instantly; including menus, directions and phone numbers.
Event planners can also have their groups text into a specific keyword, such as GROUP and communicate to their group instantly via SMS (see corporate communication). This saves time and money and adds every guest who uses any of the keywords to a database that can later be marketed to.
